Aan de Molenberg surrounded by nature reserves

Nature area “Het Schuitwater” to the west, National Park “De Maasduinen” to the east and “Maaspark Ooijen – Wanssum” directly accessible from our garden. The ferry across the beautiful Maas van Broekhuizen lb. provides the connection with Arcen. “Aan de Molenberg” is located 10 minutes from the A73 Horst aan de Maas, between Venray (20 km) and Venlo (20 km), with the German border 5 km east, Eindhoven 60 km west and Nijmegen 60 km to the north.

In addition to many beautiful junction routes, the Maasroute, the long-distance route LF3, will also visit us!

Pieterpad and public transport (OV)

“Aan de Molenberg” is located between the stages Vierlingsbeek-Swolgen and Swolgen-Venlo (and vice versa). There is a possibility to travel with bus line 88 Venray-Venlo. This stops namely in Swolgen and at 50mtr. van Aan de Molenberg stops (Hoogstraat Broekhuizen) with a journey time of 9-10 min. 3.5 km.

Day trips and public transport (OV)

For other trips there are the following options to travel from our accommodation with public transport:

  • Bus Line 88 Venlo-Venray to Venray train station, if necessary. train to Vierlingsbeek or Nijmegen
    Venray-Venlo to Venlo train station, for train to Roermond, Eindhoven, Maastricht.
  • Bus Line 83 Venlo-Nijmegen or for Nijmegen-Venlo
